Adam Road Primary School

The school is situated in the City of Bunbury. The children at the school come from varied home backgrounds. The majority of students are Australian with multiculturalism developing through enrolments of Maori Asian and Aboriginal students. The school has enrolments of 40 Kindergarten 54 Pre Primary and 352 Years 1 to 7 students. The school has 18 classrooms a well established Library Resource Centre and fully equipped music and art/craft rooms. The academic ability of the students represents a typical school of average academic ability – although the school’s NAPLAN results indicate that the school is achieving very well when compared to like schools. Attendance is high with figures showing student attendance being above the State Average. The school is characterised by Educational Programs that offer considerable choice not only in curriculum but in extra curricula areas such as Music Drama Visual Arts Sport and Outdoor Education. Adam Road is well known for ensuring ‘the total development of the child’ hence the wide spread of curriculum focus that includes the Academics the Arts Sport Social Activities and a caring and respectful Virtues Program.
