Adelaide River School

Adelaide River Primary School is located in the township of Adelaide River, 115km south of Darwin. The population is approximately 350; Indigenous people make up about 44% of the population. Adelaide River Primary School is part of the Top End Group School (TEGS) and has a strong focus on sport and physical education, including the organisation of the TEGS Cross Country Competition, an annual Adelaide River Festival for TEGS schools and sporting ties with Batchelor Area School. Strong and close community partnerships include involvement with the organisation of the Adelaide River Show, ANZAC Day celebrations and the Adelaide River Festival.
