Al-Hidayah Islamic School

The Al-Hidayah Islamic School was established in 1994 to provide the Muslim community of Perth with an additional alternate to the Government and Independent school sectors. Its aim is for high standards in government curriculum studies combined with a comprehensive Islamic studies program also delivered to the highest possible standards. To eliminate compromise in any learning area the School operates with an extended school day. To ensure financial viability in relation to these aims the School charges and collects tuition fees as a condition of enrolment. In almost sixteen years of operation the School has consistently produced above average academic results when compared with other schools and a recent survey of twenty like Muslim schools in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne showed that the Al-Hidayah Islamic School’s commitment to Islamic studies in terms of time and resources was on average twice that of the other schools. The Al-Hidayah Islamic School firmly believes that by educating our children in a balanced way in both government curriculum and Islamic studies they will grow up to be good Muslims who will thereby automatically become good citizens and part of the solution, not part of the problem.
